The BI Analytics Team are seasoned business and analytics technology professionals with complementary knowledge and skills, whose services are focused on strengthening client business performance by developing executive, operations and IT analytics knowledge and skills.
Art McDonaldis BI’s Founder and Chief Analytics Officer with over 20 years of experience providing Performance and Analytics Advisory Services to senior management, and training and guidance to IT and Operations teams on how to design, implement and productively use business-driven performance analytics to support sustained high performance. Art is also an Adjunct Professor in the Clark University Graduate School of Management (GSOM), where he developed and teaches Data Warehouse, Business Analytics and Predictive Analytics courses.
Art has extensive experience working with banking, technology, manufacturing organizations to develop enterprise data warehouse platforms that minimize the time to value and total cost of ownership for transforming data into shareholder value. Using the Kaplan and Norton Balanced Scorecard as a model, he assists clients in designing and implementing strategic initiatives to achieve operating goals that are aligned with strategic objectives, and assisting management on leading with data-based facts from personalized executive scorecards and dashboards, so the focus is on coordinated business process improvement, product and service innovation, customer satisfaction and retention and, ultimately, shareholder value.
Art lives in Stow, MA with his wife, Anne Marie, and their son, Andrew, and has a daughter, Shauna, who lives in Raleigh, NC, and a son, Austin, who lives in Atlanta, GA. He serves as President of Stow Soccer Club, and is on the executive board for Nashoba United Soccer Club.
Barbara Nichols Barbara Nichols is an Information Technology professional with over 30 years of experience assisting clients and software vendors to develop IT solutions and products to leverage data and information to their strategic advantage. She has specialized experience in metadata modeling and management with a focus on integration in repository-based environments.
Barbara held strategic data integration and product development roles at Digital Equipment Corporation, R&O (now ASG/Rochade), Dovetail Software (Founder) and Ascential Software, now part of IBM’s WebSphere Information Server product line.
Barbara founded Metaview360 in 2002 and has focused her consulting business in the areas of data and information management including: data governance, data warehousing, metadata management, tool evaluation, and information systems architecture. Clients have included A.G. Edwards & Sons, The Australian Tax Office, Bank of Thailand, McKesson Corporation, Target, Assurant Employee Benefits, Limited Brands, The TJX Companies, Fidelity Investments, Parexel, and Caterpillar Corporation.
She is a frequent speaker at DAMA and the Wilshire Data Conferences on the topics of integrated metadata life-cycles, data governance, data architecture, and information management.
David Benner is a Sr. Business Analytics Consultant with over 20 years of experience designing and developing enterprise data warehouse architectures, strategic business unit data marts, and performance reporting and analytic solutions. Dave specializes in working with IBM/Cognos and Microsoft SQL Server / BI Reporting platforms, and has extensive experience in Banking, Financial Services, Insurance and Manufacturing industries.
Dave works with clients to guide the design, development and implementation of reporting and analytics solutions, as well as to provide IT and business user training programs to ensure clients achieve maximum value from their performance analytics investment. He has worked with customers in banking and financial services, manufacturing and other industries, and employs BI Best Practices to minimize project time and cost, as well as to train and mentor IT BI Developers and business power-users.
Dave lives in Jackson Township in Stark County, OH with his wife, Connie. He serves on the Stark County Board of Health and is a past member of the Jackson Township Zoning Commission.
Jonathan Hullick is a thought-leader in financial institution strategy, performance management, and asset/liability management. His 20+ years of experience include a unique blend of executive, operations and regulatory achievements. He was an executive for three turnarounds (CFO, COO, and CEO), consulted for numerous clients (from under $100 million to over $12 billion), served as a senior regulator (authored the FDIC’s guidance and model for interest rate risk and other subjects), and was an executive for a top vendor of financial institution software. Jonathan has trained over 2,000 bankers and regulators, and is a top-rated speaker at national industry, as well as FFIEC, FDIC, and OTS conferences. He serves as a consultant to financial institutions for strategic planning, ALM, regulatory issues, investments, independent review, etc.
Jonathan also served as a Senior Capital Markets Specialist for the FDIC at Washington, DC headquarters. During his time there, he accomplished the following:
- Authored the FDIC's guidance for market & interest rate risk; built the FDIC IRR model.
- Authored the FDIC's guidance for investments & derivatives.
- Authored the FDIC's guidance for retail investment sales.
- Trained over 1,000 examiners from federal and state agencies.
- FDIC Bank Examiner during the last crisis with extensive failing bank experience.
